| Description |
When playing as part of a team use common sense in which skills and attacks you deploy. The use of some powers can break or nulify the effects of others.
Examples of this include AoE attacks which will break some mezz effects which only last until the mob is attacked.
Using knockback on foes being engaged by melee types means the melee types have to chase after them. Granted they probably are using autofollow so they go where the mob goes, but this often pulls them out of healing range.
If you have team mates using AoE's as opening volleys don't use mezzes that can be broken or knockback effects on the mobs until after the AoE's volleys have been launched.
Don't use rezzes that leave your buddies wondering around and stunned right smack in the middle of a group of mobs.
Don't AoE nuke if you have a snipper pulling.
Don't think that because you have a healer he/she can save your behind when you jump into a pile of 20 mobs.
Know the abilities of your healers, what types of heals they have, CoV healers are NOT the same as CoH healers.
Discussing tactics before you engage the enemy is always the best way to make combats go well. Everyone is on the same page and knows what their role is. This prevents unorganized mayhem and keeps your party out of XP debt.
