| Description |
I'm cribbing a bit from FODOR's suggestions for novice photographers, but I think the general principles hold true.
-Shots of single subjects look best when captured from a 3/4 profile of either the right or the left. If shooting a portrait, try not to crowd the shot with the subject. Pull out to let the shot at least capture your toon from the torso up.
-Shots from lower vantages give the impression of scale and size. In action shots trying to include larger subjects (i.e. GMs, Statues, or geographic features), bring the camera lower to make the shot more interesting.
-Pose. The devs gave you emotes; use them, and give yourself a reason to be silly.
-When shooting your powers, take into account the animation time. 'Sands of Mu' gives you lots of time to pick your shot; 'Power Blasts' don't. Time it.
-Groups make shots more interesting. Hence, group action shots look f---ing awesome!
-Shoot screenshots as often as possible. How better to document your accomplishments, and then brag to your VG when they call you a filthy liar?
Have fun,
Ombrya
