Teams: I found that Joining a Supergroup allows you to find teams easier.Coalitions and Supergroup members usually ask if people would like to join their team or Strikeforce.
Influence: Most Supergroup ask you to play in Supergroup mode until you hit level 50.Most people think that they'll be cutting short on Influence.Alot of Supergroups these days offer influence.In other words if you give them what you want They'll give you something in return.
Teleporters: This is one of the main reasons people Join supergroups.Teleporters make it easier for you to get around zones,Alot easier.
Base Storage: Your Supergroup base has a Storage room where you can put Salvage,Enhancements and Inspiration pieces in a safe place.
Medbay: The Medical bay teleports you to your base after you die.It's good cause from there you can supply yourself with Enhancements and Inspirations from your base storage and head back to the fight.
Supergroups play a big role in the game and are very helpful for new born players.I highly suggest joining supergroups unless you like to fly solo.
