This is a quick reference guide so that people starting a Robotics/Force Field Mastermind will not waste any powers or slots. This Mastermind build is not meant to do any damage, it leaves that task to its minions. Also this build is very good for PvP.
The main features of this build that makes it the only viable MM choice for PvP are:
A) The fly/stealth ability (can’t see you can’t hit you).
B) The ability to keep the enemy on his back with force bolt.
C) The ability to keep an enemy out of the battle with detention field.
D) Bots and bubbles have resistance to assassin’s attacks (which are brutal in PvP).
E) Bots prefer range which lets your Dispersion Bubble and Force Bubble to work at max efficiency.

This is my most used power. I have a macro made so that I can turn on auto cast. With this power you can take out an enemy out of the fight until your bots can take him. Or you can use it to knock enemies off your bots so that they can use their range attacks (which are more powerful than their melee attack).

I am a big fan of slotting accuracy because it is like slotting damage. At this stage of the game I was missing 1 out of 4. With the extra accuracy it was like 1 out of 8 AKA 14% increase to damage.

This power sucks and is only good for the end use of PvP. A better power for PvE would be Recall Friend. That way you could pull back your dying bot(s) so that another can take the heat, or you will have a better chance to protect him with force bolt.

I love this power and so do my party members. You can effectively hold 2 enemies at bay now. Even better when you are attacking a boss you can bubble him. This is awesome because if they have the ability to heal others, you have now prevented this ability. The only problem is that other players are not always aware that you have bubbled an enemy. Set up a macro so that when you cast this it tells your team you have done so.

This is a decent travel ability for the bot MM, because the bots are auto equipped with jump. This means that they can keep up with you and you don’t need to spend the power points on group fly.

Now you are a force in PvP. No more will a group try and kill you before your minions, because...they can’t find you.
After this point its just gravy. Key things to do are:
A) Make sure to six slot your Assault Bot
B) Get Upgrade Robot
C) Get Repulsion Bomb
D) Get Force Bubble
Note:
Don’t bother with Repulsion Field because Force Bubble does a better job. Also with this build getting Assault and Tactics is a waste because you are either invisible or have a Personal Force Field which prevent those abilities from working. Maybe now is the time to get Recall Friend.
