Customize your CoX Login Screen
As you may or may not have seen over the course of the past week, a lovely fellow (that goes by Leandro on the OBs) has come up with a way for heroes and villains alike to customize their CoX Login Screens.
Leandro has created a program called the City of Heroes Splasher that will take any picture or screenshot and use it as the backdrop to your Login, Server and Character Selection screens. His program has changed a few times in the last week and will probably again in the very near future. A backdrop randomizer is in the works so you can have multiple images as a backdrop and load screen.
This is an unbelievable advancement to the game that has been all about player specific customization and takes that theory to the next level. And just in case you were worrying that a program like this is illegal, you can stuff your worries in a sack! It doesn’t modify any of the programs files so it’s 100% Grade A Prime Beef!
Bigspeer has created his own custom Gameamp Login screen, which can be seen here. He is also taking requests for custom login screens for a small fee (hugs are the preferred method of payment, but other forms are accepted).
