Patron pool powers guide for stalkers (part 1)
OK in this little guide I will explain 2 of the epic pools for stalkers and evaluate them.
Mace mastery: Black Scorpion gives you a (rather nice looking) Arachnos mace and teaches you how to use it. Good for power!
Mace Blast: You fire a standard long range beam from your mace. You Must be at least level 41 before you can this attack.
+ Stalkers can now gain a form of ranged attack to stop runners or help out in other troublesome situations!
- Not practical in close combat as it has a tendency to miss.
Mace Beam: A sniper beam attack fired from your mace. Should be used at a distance because it is interruptible. You must be at least level 41 to gain this attack.
+ High damage from a long range. It may be possible to attack and be able to hide again before foes come into range.
- Is interruptible and should not be used during close range combat.
Web Cocoon: Your fire a 'suped' web grenade from your mace, this holds foes in a sticky web and prevents them from attacking for a while. You must be at least level 44 and have either Mace Beam or Mace Blast to gain this power.
+ Can prevent foes from attacking for a short while.
- Foes are not held for long (unless this is enhanced) and some may resist it.
Summon Spiderlings: Black Scorpion has shown you how to summon 3 Spiderlings to aid you in combat. All Spiderlings come 1 level lower then your own. Once summon they follow and attack your foes for 4 minutes (unless wiped out) and will leave after this. You will only ever have 3 Spiderlings under your control at one time. This has a long recharge time of 15 minutes. You must be at least level 47 and have two other mace mastery attacks to obtain this power.
Spiderlings come with the following abilities:
Spiderlings resistance: Resistance to smashing, lethal and some cold.
Super leap: Spiderlings have a good jumping ability
Claw: Moderate lethal damage from a claw swipe
Chain gun: High damage with a fast recharge. Spiderlings fire their chain guns at foes.
+ You get 3 pets instead of the one. This maybe better when fighting lots of foes.
- Spiderlings have few attacks and come one level below you, which means they will be weaker and less likely to hit foes during your missions.
Mu mastery: Scirocco teaches you how to tap into the power of the Mu. You will gain the Mu's signature crimson lightning abilities in battle. This is great for those who are often low on endurance.
Mu Bolts: A standard long range blast of Mu lightning. You must be at least level 41 before you can gain this power.
+ Useful because it gives stalkers a ranged attack. Prevents runners having to be chased.
- Not to practical in close ranged combat.
Zapp: A sniper blast of Mu lightning. You must be at least level 41 before you can obtain this power.
+ A powerful ranged attack. Stalkers may be able to become hidden again before foes reach combat range.
- Cannot be used in close range combat as it is interruptible.
Electric Shackles: Holds a foe in a cage of Mu lightning. You Must be at least level 44 and have either Zapp or Mu Bolts before you can gain this power.
+ Can prevent a foe from attacking you.
- Holds do not last long unless enhanced. Some higher ranked foes may resist it.
Summon Adept: Scirocco has shown your how to call a Mu adept to aid you in battle. Once summoned the adept follows you and aids you in combat with its various lightning attacks. The adept summon lasts for 4 minutes (or until defeat) and the recharge time is 15 minutes. You many only ever have one adept under your control at any one time. You must be at least level 47 and have two other Mu mastery attacks before you can obtain this one. Adept's come at the same level as you.
The adept has various electric attacks including a holding attack and an em pulse attack. Mu adept's can fly and are resistant to energy and negative attacks.
+ The adept is good against machines and is a useful ally if trying to solo big mobs.
- They only last for 4 minutes and you only get one per summon. Cannot handle too many physical attacks.
