Welcome to the First Gameamp Guide to PvP, Written, Published, and Certainly not Plagiarized.. by Jzzkc.

Please keep all hands, legs, spines, and super-powers inside the guide at all times.

The first thing I would like to explain to you is how and when you can/may go to a PvP zone and may or may not kick minglehoosen.

The first PvP zone available is Bloody Bay. Bloody bay is a very spacious map, containing meteors that can be collected to produce a temporary power. Unlike Sirens Call and Warburg, this is the only zone that does not offer the “Defeat all heroes in depot (see subnote 1)”. This zone tends to produce a lot of camping on rooftops and in most cases the villains have control. Bloody Bay can be accessed through Skyway City/Cap au Diable. This zone is a heroes versus villains zone. In addition to being a one sided zone, entry to Bloody Bay is permitted at level 15, and you are sidekicked/malefactored to level 25.

The second PvP zone available is Sirens Call. Sirens call takes the form of an upsidedown “L” shape and is extremely condensed. I can guarantee you that if you attack a ground of heroes, you WILL be chased back to your base. As mentioned earlier, this zone does offer the defeat all heroes in depot missions. In sirens call, there are things called hotspots where Arachnos and Longbow are spawned and the more battles the villains win, the more temporary powers you can buy at the store near the hospital. The villain base is far from being safe, since there are many places where heroes can camp to attack you, the villain, inside your own base. The only guaranteed safe place is inside the enclosed hospital. Typically when the villains are hiding, the heroes will venture into the waters outside the villain base and wait until somebody attacks. If the heroes are hiding, it’s the same general idea except the villains will be more susceptible to being droned(see subnote 2). This zone is a heroes versus villains zone. This zone is available from level 20 and you are sidekicked/malefactored to level 30.

The third PvP zone available is Warburg. Warburg is similar to Bloody Bay, but the aggro is more spread out, and since many of the buildings are too tall or too condensed, camping does not usually occur. However sometimes, since this is a free for all zone, people stay near the space barriers, so if they are attacked they can go into the save zone of the map where heroes cannot attack each other, the same is true for villains. This zone is available from level 30 and sidekicks/malefactors you to level 38. In this zone, you can lead a series of scientists to panels to receive access codes, which later activates a nuclear bomb that gives you a nuke temporary power. (see subnote 3)

The fourth and final PvP zone is Recluse’s Victory. RV is definitely the big leagues, if you want to test your villain’s limits, this is the place. It is only available from level 40, and you are sidekicked to level 50. All powers can be used in this zone, so every power counts. This zone is an all around map, with general fights occurring throughout the zone. This zone is located in a future Atlas Park, thus creating the need for Pillboxes the control and alter parts of the zone. Once either the heroes or villains have taken control of the majority of the pillboxes using Arachnos (see subnote 4) Pets, there is a dimensional shift. If the villains have taken control of the zone, then every hero that is defeated gains prestige for his/her supergroup.

Powers and how they can be used to your advantage:

All archtypes have their own advantages, but be advised that only certain powertypes are good for pvp. Depending on your build depends on how well you will do in a pvp zone. Stalkers are unfortunately very overpowered in PvP. With the ability to activate two stealth powers at the same time, they are very deadly in pvp, and hard to prevent oncoming attack. Corruptors are generally very powerful, especially Fire Blast / Radiation sets. Brutes, while they have a rage bar, are only able to stand up to one to three people at once, without debuffs. Dominators like Controllers are very pesky and are very good at pinning down and getting heroes killed. Finally Masterminds are a team of their own, they are able to support themselves and can act as a makeshift base since they offer a variety of support and cover.

That’s generally all you need to know about pvp, while listed below are different sets that are generally good in pvp.

Dominators:
Gravity Control / Fiery Assault

Stalkers:
Spines / Ninjitsu
Spines / Regeneration
Energy Melee / Regeneration

Masterminds:
Robotics / Traps
Robotics / Poison

Corruptors:
Fire Blast / Radiation Emission
Fire Blast / Cold Domination
(Fire Blast) Ice Blast / Traps

Brutes:
Energy Melee / Energy Aura
Super Strength / Fiery Aura

(Just FYI: Not all of these powersets may have what you want in mind, so please look over the different powers to see if it gives you anything you like.)

I used to pvp alot, before castle turned stalkers into the single most pathetic AT in the game, now im forced to make another corruptor

Thank you very much for this useful guide. I have been wanting to get into PvP, but lacked the know how and what general powers to choose. This should help tons! Thank you very much!
