Guide to GameAmp Images And Screenshots
I decided to put together this little guide to help Ampers who do not know how to use Images on the site
ADDING IMAGES TO YOUR IMAGE GALLERY
If you wanted to post a picture in your Image Gallery all you would have to do is to open your profile and to the right of your profile pic you should see a list of options you want to click Image Gallery see it highlighted in yellow below:
Then you would want to click the add image on the right side of image gallery see highlighted in yellow below:
Then you need to name your picture in the first box see below:
If you want your picture only visible to you click on the box below where you named your pic
Then click the browse button then you want to be under you c drive then click program files
See below:
Once you click on program files you want to click on CoH see below:
Once you click on CoH then you want to click on screenshots see below:
Once you click on screen shots this will open up all the screen shots you have saved on your computer see below:
You want to click on the screenshot you wish to use and select open this should fill in the browse section with the screenshot you wish to put in your gallery click add image and you should see the image in you image gallery
ADDING IMAGES TO FORUM POSTS
We ask that you limit the size of your pics you post on your forum posts to 200x200 size. To post a picture in your forum post you need to first add it to your GamAmp Limitless image gallery by using the steps above. Once the image is in your gallery, you want to click on it, so it shows the full size of your pic. Once the pic is open, you want to right click the image and click on properties at the bottom of your options. Once you open your properties, you want to copy the URL address, See highlighted in yellow below:
Now that you have the URL copied, you need to go to the forum thread you wish to put your picture in and click on it. Once you get into the forum thread, you need to click the reply button. After clicking the reply button, the text box should open up. Right above where you write your content you will see a button marked IMG. You will see it highlighted in yellow below:
You want to click the Image button and you should get a prompt asking you to enter the URL. See an example below:
You want to past the URL you copied into the prompt as seen below and click ok:
After clicking ok there should be a text in your content box that looks like this below:
After typing whatever text, you wish to add to the post when you click reply the image should appear in the post.
HOW TO SUBMIT A SCREENSHOT
To submit a screenshot to our great galleries the first thing you need to do is go to the media section and click on Screen shots see below:
Once you click on screenshots you will need to click the Submit Screen Shots button on the top right of your screen see below:
Once you click on that, you will have a little form pop up see example below:
You will need to provide a name for your picture in the yellow box you will also have to pick which gallery you would like to put your screenshot into. You will also have to post a comment in the comments box about your pick then you want to click the browse button and follow the steps above for adding a picture to your image gallery. Go to program files then CoH then screenshots then choose the screenshot you want to submit and click open and then click submit.
Your Screen shot will not immediately appear like your image gallery. A staff member must approve screen shots first. If your screen shot is approved you will receive 10pts credit per screenshots submitted.
