We were kind of busy running the Ouroboros welcome arc. I had actually never done. Tuesday was actually my first to ever use the Ouroboros portal thingy. Go figure! I am usually running as bit behind the times :) So it was already late in the evening when we finally started to look into I12 stuff.
We went to talk to Ms. McKnight and started the opening quest. It was a wonderful quest! The mission was filled with death mages and succubuses (succubi?). I love fighting those hussies and making fun of Char/Lani at the same time. We got three of the four amulets and then lani got hardware issues. So I have no idea what the club or Cimora look like yet. Maybe I'll wait till I13 now.

Welllll I for one, was extremely disappointed.
On heroe side, you needed to do an 8 mission story arc.. filled with Rikti and CoT!!!
So, after that, I went into the Midnight Club....Lame. It doesn't havea map, and EVERY room looks the same, so if you don't have an Ouroboros teleportor, you will be in for a tough time.
Then, when I FINALLY got to Cimerora I realized that they really did a nice job with the graphics..
So I did the first story arc.... lame! all I did was talk to a bunch of people and learn about Cimerora.
Next I got my second contact, where I was hoping for a fun story arch. Lame! all that he does is give out random generic timed missions that are ALL in the exact same map..
And one other thing has been bothering me... can anybody PLEASE tell me why Romans can throw frag grenades? Or why they have healers that can heal the boss completely with one heal power?
And finally, for the biggest letdown. Upon looking at my map, I realized that there was a huge gated off city to the North of the zone.. so I flew all of the way over there....only to run into the stupid blue thing that tells you that you can't go any further. So they made some HUGE fortress that I mysteriously can't fly over.. lame. Next I flew down, only to get ganked by TONS of level 54 Cimeroran traitors. No more Cimerora for me, unless I can unlock those new costumes or do the new TF...

The devs warned us that Cimerora was going to be kinda lack-luster (boring). It's something that's going to be explored in later issues.
It all looked pretty, but meh. You're right, it was dull. I actually REALLY enjoyed the opening Arc. It explored the whole Lost/Rikti connection. Very neat stuff.

I havent actually done the Task Force but ive read the F.A.Q. and fought Romulus once at a friends account, its sorta like a mini hamidon type encounter with different types of nictus's (nicti?) 1 thats like a blaster, a healer, and a shadow cryst type nictus, along with romulus who is like a super uber warshade AV, the Nicti explode and stuns every1 on the team fun stuff

I spent a little time in Cimerora with my MM last night. I can honestly say they did a nice job with the zone layout. The enviorment looks great. I have just started running the missions in the zone and I hope to do the TF soon. The Devastators had a little fun while we were there.

It's called suspension of disbelief. If you accept that there's a city full of people with crazy superpowers out there that got invaded by crazy alien monsters in 2004 then, by suspension of disbelief, you must also accept that this is possible.

This zone is a cross between RWZ and Ouro...I think what they are planning for the future is to open a large story arc just like they did in RWZ. First mission in RWZ was to head to every contact in order to join Vanguard. You do the same in Cim. You run around the zone clicking on the various people. I think these will be the future contacts for the mission story arcs.
