| So when do I get to be a villain??? |

I've been playin this a tad for few days now (14 day trial) and the one thing that I've noticed, other than the tutorial prison break, I haven't gotten to be a villain.
The quests I've done all consist of killin these snake things. They all seem to me (and I haven't actually read any of the descriptions in game, so I could be totally wrong here) like it's defending the world, as opposed to taking it over.
So when do I get to do villain stuff, like rob a bank, or take people hostage? Except for earning xp and "infamy" I don't feel very villainous...

You are being a villain right now. You are not saving the world, you are knocking off your competition. What you think you start at the top? You have to wipe out lots of low level scum who are looking to knock you off and take your place in the climb to the top of the villain hill. Now get out there and beat up some goons and make your mark so some higher level guy will give you some tasks.

I was able to raob a bank once I got into Mercy. I went and saw Mongoose and he wanted some extra funds, so he had me rob a bank.
This happened after I was down with beginning sets of missions.

Well pretty early in the game, you get to rob banks atleast if you choose your first contact to be Kalinda the Fortunata.the Contact after that has a bank rob mission. Also when you get to Port Oakes, which is the next area after Mercy Island you will be introduced to a contact who will have bank jobs for you from time to time. you get to kidnap ppl too but that´s just escorting them actually. i think it´s bcause he developer´s didn´t want it to be too 'evil' to keep the game suitable for everyone. the game is great even though you don't get to be that bad. sry for putting things in a nut shell but my keyboard does not work and i need to use this freaking on screen keyboad.
oh rght, you get to break back into the jail to free other villains if you take the right contact.
-the game´s still fun in my opinion.

It pays to read the writing on the screen huh? :)
I guess I wouldn't make a very good villain then. I much prefer to do my own dirty work as opposed to someone else's.

when you get out of Mercy you can get tips from the Newspaper... Offering Kidnaps - Stealing - and slaughtering of Bosses who like to talk sh&t.. and after 5 or so of those missions you will get a tip of a bank that is ready to get a shipment of cash in or what not.. Ive noticed most of the Story Arcs are geared to seem like a climb in the Ranks of Arachnos while the newspapers are straight killings only for the satisfaction of your self..

Also after I7 comes out you can be a villain by destroying building's and harasing citizens. Not to forget that you can smash that jerk Statesmen(not the dude from the forums here or cov.com so don't bash me) and finally help recluse to domination. Just don't base your experience off of the 15 day trial, check out some of the screenshots people have posted, and also what they have to say on the forums, you may get a little bit clearer picture as to what happens later in the lvl's.

yeah the newspaper and story arcs after a while start to show the villainous side. Which contact gives the "free the villains" mish? You take down heroes for their cape, arachnos to make your way up the ladder, take out competitor mafia to try and take over, set bombs, kidnap scrapyard worker to find out whose trying to take over, and much more, especially in the new I7

Don't know if it's just me, but I would love to see the animation of the build/complex blowing up on those 'place bomb' missions. I think if they added that somewhere down the line, that'll be a real treat [for me anyways :)]
