Description: I can't say for certain whether we'll find Stheno at the hatchery, but I'd say it's worth looking. Be careful, (Villain). If the reports about Medusa are to be believed, her sister won't be any pushover. My client will want to know about everything you find. Post Mission Debrief: No signs of Stheno, eh? Well, them's the breaks, I guess. I guess my client will have to be content with these Snake shells. I just hope the information we've gathered on the Snakes doesn't get back to Arachnos. I'd hate to think we'd done all this work for their benefit.

Story Arc "The Origins of the Snakes" Part 3/3
Souvenir "Snake Shell Fragment"

An interesting Snake cave mission, complete with a cut scene (will alert you to when you're close to the big room in the mission). You need to defeat all Snakes in the cave, which includes a boss at the end, "Cobra Trueborn" in the hatchery room. Also, there are a number of eggs guarded by various Snakes. The eggs hatch and spawn LT level "Cobra Hatchlings" for added fun.

There are a lot of snakes of different levels in this mission, and there's much xp to gain. I gained 8.5 bubs soloing this mission on malicious, after leveling in the second room. Watching the eggs hatch is fun too.

For n00bs with little experiance of the game this can be a nasty mission. There are lots of snakes and the eggs all hatch into cobras (boss rank of the snakes). Don't be panicked by all these snakes, jsut pull or lure them away from the eggs and try to finish them off before the corba hatchling hatches. Then go one on one with the hatchling if possible. Then rest up. Keep repaeating this process and you should be fine, if not, call in the team!

The eggs hatch? I just attacked the eggs while I was killing everything else in the room ..
