Description: You're __________, right? Yeah. I know who you are. We've been watching you. Never mind that now though, we have a situation here. Six radioactive asteroids crashed on Bloody Bay. Arachnos evacuated the island, but the meteor chunks have bizarre properties Lord Recluse wants studied. Trouble is, the asteroids have given rise to legions of weird creatures, so we need you to gather samples for us. Are you in?

Writeup

This mission can be incredibly hard depending on the hero population of Bloody Bay at the time. You have to travel throughout the entire zone to each of the Meteors marked on the minimap. When you get there, you will have to fight off (usually) two Shivan and then extract the ore from the Meteor. If you are attacked while extracting, you are interrupted and must start off the extraction again. Then, you have to travel to a firebase on the map and destroy all of the guns before they respawn. While all the guns are down, you must then process the ore into one combined ore chunk. Then you have to bring this back to the initial contact. All during this time, you could be ambushed by a hero who wants to steal ore from you.
Upon completions of his mission you are given Shivan Shard which allows you to summon one Shivan to aid you, up to five times total.

i have a question about the difficulty of this....i have tried it once with my level 50 exempted to 15 and i didnt think the mission was that difficult...i got 6 outta the seven turrets down and then they started respawning...how long does it take to fuse all of the ores together??

Fusing the ores together is done instantly when you click on the large computer (not the small notebook) inside the building. You dont have to wait for a progress bar (similar to a glowing object).

One trick that people use is to damage the turrets (not destroy them) until all are down to just a hit or 2 each. Then run around again and take them the last bit each and you should have no trouble making it inside the building before the first one respawns.

This mission is not that difficult if your villain has the right fire power. As a Fire Corrupter I'm able to complete this on my own.

A few hints:
1) There's always one turret that's a higher level than the others. Destroy this one first as it'll take longer than the others. Its usually a Boss or Lt.

2) If you're part of a team, the turrets respawn quicker. I tried to do this mission on my own once with someone hunting HellFrosts in Sharkshead while we were teamed. By the time I got to the base guns the outer turrets had respawned. Normally by myself this is not a problem. As part of a team work together to take out turrets.

3) If you're at a higher level than 25 and go back to do this mission, remember you'll only have those powers you had at 25 and below.

4) Obviously this mission gets alot harder when there are heroes looking for easy kills or there are Shivans too close to a turret and start shooting at you.

where is the firebase?

where is it though? i have all the meteors, i just dun know where the firebase is.
