Bloody Mary- by Anachron aka Satori_Soul 78-10/06
In the 1992 movie "Candyman" The Candyman Legend is adapted from the original "Bloody Mary" legend.
"Urban Legends" was released in 1999, using a version as well...
The way it was told to me is a bit disturbing so you are cautioned, read on at your own risk, there are many versions of this story, this is mine...
My step-sister told me this story in 1978 (she was 15 I was 12) one of her friends had tried the summoning, a few minutes later she came running out of the bathroom with her face bloody having scratched herself in fear, or so we were told... I have had to improvise a bit in spots as my memory isn't what it used to be.

The story goes that a Mary Billingham was at home, her child asleep in another room, a neighbor had admired the baby and wanted it for herself, one night the neighbor snuck into Mary's yard and yelled into the house "Mary! I have your baby!"
She had lost her husband a year earlier, fearing another loss and being the loving mother she was she rushed outside without stopping to check in on her child first.
Once Mary was outside the neighbor snuck in and stold the child, leaving before Mary returned, Mary finally went to check on her child but by now the baby was gone...
Shortly after the incident the neighbor moved and both her and Mary's child disappeared.
As time went by Mary gave up hope of ever finding her baby... sometimes Mary would get calls on her phone "Mary your baby is dead!" adding insult to injury, causing her to plummet deeper and deeper into depression.
She died a few years later from removing her own eyes and bleeding to death... a note was soon found near the body covered with Mary's blood it read "To whomever finds this letter I cannot bear to see the world without my baby in it so i'm removing my eyes... may god forgive me and watch over my child wherever she is"---MB
This letter is now kept in a vault by her relatives, it is kept in a bowl since it drips red liquid from time to time, tears perhaps...

What follows is the method used to supposedly summon her, I would caution against doing it, just because i'm telling you the how does not mean you should go try it.
If you do decide to attempt it then all of these things must be done each time:
1. Make sure its pitch dark (like in a closet with the light off - there can be no outside light visible)
2. It must be 12 midnight exactly in you timezone...
3. Any Full Moon
4. Place a mirror on either side of you with the reflective parts facing each other (you should see your chest to the top of your head in the mirror in front of you.
5. Sit or stand between them and look into one of the mirrors while holding a candle, make sure the candle is visible in the mirror.
6. Say "Bloody Mary I killed Your Baby!" at least 3 times in a row... sometimes more sometimes less... your then supposed to see her hand coming from behind you...
I do not know what to do past this point...
The summoning scared me so much that to this day I have not tried it nor will I ever...
