The Creation of Demolition and Intro of Vision of Darkness.
Lovers, destined to be together, torn apart by the seeds of greed and evil...
As the Council makes it's march on to domination and glory they find people to fill their ranks. Both the willing and unwilling are taken in and made into soldiers. Those that are willing are put into positions to recruit others by any means. Those that are not willing are taken prisoner and cast into a cesspool dungeon. Their families or their own lives are threatened. They blackmail the unwilling to become pawns within their structure. The unwilling are also used for testing purposes. Bio hazard chemicals, nuclear particle exposure, genetic alterations, are just some of the underlying practices used during their push for victory.
They were just citizens of Rogue Isle. Barely getting by since money is hard to come across due to the corrupt nature of the Isles. He worked the docks when work was available and she worked as a waitress in the casinos/bars. They had each other and that was enough to keep them going. Times and trials have put these two to the limits again and again. One thing always stayed the same, their connection to one another.
It was late. He was working a shipment that just came in when some Council recruits were making their rounds. He and the rest of his crew were being harassed by the recruits to join them. He and most of the crew was detained and brought back to the base while the others were killed for resisting. Locked into a cold, dark, cell he sat thinking of her. She was on her way home from working a double shift. As she approached the house she realized he was not there. He is almost never late so she waited for him... but he was not coming home. Minutes turned into hours, hours into days....Thrust into despair and heartache she wept for him. She faded away into the darkness. Her heavy heart broken...
He was one of the unlucky ones. Randomly selected for genetic alteration he was chosen to be the test subject for a highly unstable serum. The Council was on the verge of creating a new breed of Warwolves, and he was going to be the first. With all but his spirit broken he was strapped to a bed. Several feet beneath the surface within one of the Councils many bases a laboratory holds a crowd of 100s of Council Scientist. With this test being a success it would be a step closer to their conquest for glory. With failure, his remains would be discarded into the rivers just as the others before him. Forcing them to yet again research their formulas and retest on another unwilling soul. The process consisted of several long and painful injections throughout his body. A series of chemicals are fed into the bloodstream to connect with the cells and the brain. Then the final shot is injected into the base of the neck. This shot is called the "catalyst shot". It causes a reaction between all the other shots to begin the transformation and gene alteration through the body. His screams were deafening as his body reacted to the last shot. His mind became clouded as he gave into the serum. His only remaining thought was of her. His will to love her was unbound, though now his body and his mind was no longer his own, his heart remained hers.
The transformation was a success. The Council had planned for the new breed of Warwolves to take the place of the loyal recruits in the battlefields. They were to be labeled: Demolition Operation Specialist, with each Warwolf fitted
with their own identification number. His tag read Demolition 00001. The first of many more to come. As he was being fitted for his tags he snapped. Memories of her flooded his mind. He remembered her face, her smile, his heart beat harder thinking about her. Then he remembered begin locked in the dungeons of the Councils Base away from her. Now filled with emotion of anger and hatred he unleashed his fury on guards and scientist staff in the room with him. Alarms sounded as he made his escape through the caves looking for an exit. Tearing through Council soldiers, Warwolves and MK units until finally he found his way to the surface. He ran into the forest while avoiding the Auto Turrets. His escape made their mission to make a new breed of Warwolves a failure.
He returned to what was once his home. Creeping through the dark he did not want to draw attention to himself so he stayed to the shadows as he approached one of the windows. The house was dark, and in poor shape. Almost as if had been abandoned. Unable to make ends meet on her own the bills piled up and house fell apart. A small candle was burning on the table in the kitchen. A shadowy figure of a female moved from room to room. Longing to see her kept him looking in the windows, while knowing she would never recognize him after what the Council had done. It started to rain as thunder and lightning filled the night sky. Being careless he was seen during a flash of lightning as he was peering in. The female shadowy figure was indeed her, his love, she screamed as she stumbled away from the window. Realizing what he had done he went in through the front door to comfort her. Following her through the house as she ran from him, he tried desperately to communicate with her. He could hear and see himself reaching for her, telling her that it was ok, that is was only him. All she could see was a vicious monster grabbing and growling at her. Running through the already weakened house had made the structure even more unstable. She ran to the front door as the house collapsed on top of him. He let out a howl and whimper as he drug himself out of the remains of their home and into the yard where he passed out.
She approached the unconscious creature recognizing the Councils symbol on his tags. The tag read Demolition, the number being scraped away by a bullet while he made his escape from the Councils Base. He breathed heavily and looked up to see her staring at him. As she looked into the creatures eyes she felt a strange connection to him. Something she had not felt in a long time. Unsure of what she was feeling she placed her hand on side of the creatures face. He exhaled a sigh of relief as he fell unconscious again. She realized this feeling was the same as she shared with her lost love. Knowing what the Council is capable of she did not dispute the fact that this was once a human being. She nursed him back to health.
Unable to tell her who he is and her being unsure of whom he was. Deep inside she wants to believe that he has returned to her, but she will not let herself. He acts as her guardian, hoping one day she will come to see that he is here beside her all along. He is obedient to her every whim. He is driven with hope, anger, and hatred and she is driven with sorrow, heartache and uncertainty. But somewhere inside each of them there is a unspoken connection.
Destined to be together, separated by the seeds of greed and evil.
